Maybe stupid question but can you please tell us why you need other driver? Gaming?

One more thing: have you noticed this using original Toshiba driver? I just hope this occurs because of driver.

Hi

As far as I know the XP is not official supported on the Satellite X200 or Satego X200 and therefore the graphic driver is not available on the Toshiba European driver page.
Maybe you could try the driver from the www.laptopvideo2go .com site.
But note; this drivers were not tested and therefore there is no guarantee that these drivers will work correctly. So you can install it at your own risk.

Greetings dude

I think so. because the original vista driver works.
but when I want to use a drive from www.laptopvideo2go.com then I have this pixelfailures on screen.
I have tested my system with opensuse 10.3 and the original nvidia driver - but the same failure

I want play games - but vista and games --> very slow
and some programs I need for my work (like logosoftware from siemens) works only on windows xp

@---

by the way: that driver also fixed my problem with the Satego X200 21L(GF 8600M GT, see previous thread). Thanks a lot.

I've tested a few but this one is the first that works ... without bluescreen :-)

I spent some (more) time to read the hints in www.laptopvideo2go.com. So maybe it's been the first time that I did it the right way, don't really know.

Anyhow - now Vista is going to be history - long live XP !!!

Helpful
Hi,

Had the same Problems. Solution:

1. To fix the Pixelerrors use RIVATUNER and set the 2D Clock from default 100 to 150 Mhz.
2. Then use one of the 174-Series Drivers from Laptopvideo2go.

A better solution: Toshiba should give us a new Bios with corrected GPU-Clocks.
Hope anybody fron Toshiba read this.
