Question about preinstalled Norton application

Hello

I had got a M70-244 I just wont know...if I use a recovery CD I have the clean system whit Norton preinstalled but I don't wont it and I don't wont uninstall it because Norton is famous for is badly remover application.

I won't know how I can install a clean system whit no other software. Maybe only the driver but not Norton or record now, WnDVD and something like that.

Unfortunately by using recovery installation there is no option where you can choose which components should be installed and which not. Recovery image is a ghost image and everything must be installed.

I recommend you to install recovery image and after that remove Symantec Norton as described in this document http://support.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/TSB6B01NM000ER01.htm

Other stuff you can remove very simply using ‘Add/Remove Programms’ option.

As Barrie already said, it’s not possible to install the Toshiba recovery CD without the Norton tool.
The removing procedure which was described in the Toshiba document should clearly remove the Norton application,

Additionally I give you an advice. After this removing you could use a freeware application called “CCleaner”. This tool clean the registry entries after program an software installation and reinstallation...
It's nice tool...

I bought one pc in the series of Equium A100-147 one month before. Eventually, I lost Norton Antivirus Security 2006 software. How can I download it again.

There is no possibility for a download of Norton Antivirus Security 2006 software from Toshiba website.
This software is a part of the recovery CD and if you want to install this application again you need the Recovery CD.

if you use the recovery disk and dont install nortons fully it is quite easy to unistall it in Add/Remove software i think there is 2 or 3 part to it though
