Anybody using Win2k on a Satellite Pro M70 or has the drivers?

Hi,
I have just purchased a M70. Needless to say it comes preloaded with WinXP.
The software I am using on my project specifically requires Win2k and a 1GB RAM.
I would like to know if
1. Anybody tried installing Win2k on M70 and if yes, any issues that they might have faced.
2. I am searching desperately for the Win2K drivers for the M70. Can anyone help me with where i can find them?
Lastly, if M70 is not the right book for me, anybody knows about another piece which has 1GB RAM/100GB HDD combination and supports Win2k as an OS.

Hi
Well, the fact is that this notebook was delivered only with the WinXP.
I have checked also the Toshiba website and there are no drivers for W2k.
If you will also use the W2k on your notebook you can try to install it on the second partition and use it as a dual OS notebook. But you will be not able to use the special Toshiba tools and utilities.
There are many Satellite Pro M70 models but generally it should be possible to upgrade the memory to max 2024MB. In this case there is no problem with the upgrade.

Hi
Sorry but you should know that W2K is not supported for a long time and you can not expect to buy the newest notebook with W2K support.
If you want to use W2K I recommend you to use an older unit and upgrade the hardware. If you need so much HDD capacity for data storage you can also use small 2,5`` external HDD.
