Max supported HDD capacity on T2130CS

Hi there! I was wondering what the maximum hdd a toshiba t2130cs can support. Could it support up to 30gb? Thanks.

Unfortunately this unit is not known to me but I assume that this notebook is a oldie.
I have found a information on some websites that it was delivered with a 520MB HDD.
Well, I don’t think that you will be able to use a 30GB HDD. Maybe a 1GB will be supported but not bigger HDDs.

Hi

I don’t believe that it will work. Be a little bit realistic. It is very old unit and it can maybe support just HDDs with lower capacity. Unfortunately this information can give you just some HDD upgrade offeror.

I don’t think that the 30GB will work anymore on this unit.
The 30GB HDD is more expensive as this TE unit

Buy a new notebook

This is a Toshiba driver page:

There you will find a BIOS version 5.3 form 17/12/02. You can upgrade the BIOS.
Maybe a 2GB will work but please understand 30GB is not possible!!!
