Hello: my toshiba automatically powers on and thus resuming from hibernation mode. I already checked the settings in Setup, but the option "Automatically Power On when Network is detected" is disabled. Does anyone have an idea ? It happened again this morning. I hibernated my portable last night and this morning at 9:00 it automatically turned on and resumed windows.

Correct
Hi
I think on the preinstalled OS you will find more options which could enable the automatically resuming from the hibernation.
On my notebook I have the option “Wake-up on LAN”. This you should also find in the Toshiba HWSetup. I think you should disable it.
In my opinion you should also check the “Scheduled Tasks” in the control panel. Some task which executes automatically could also bring the notebook from the hibernation.

Thanks !!! I installed syncback and indeed i do have a scheduled task (which i did not know about) which starts backup at 9:00 am. This is the reason for the laptop automatically resuming from hibernation !
Thanks a lot !
