I Can't see HDD's installing Win7 in Qosmio G30

Hi everyone,

I was trying to install win 7 64 bits in my Qosmio G30. The first problem was when in the first steps, the program of installation didn't found the hdd's. Exactly, it said to me that any driver was found. logically, if it doesn't find drivers, including hdd drivers I couldn't install win 7.
I can see the hdd in BIOS, but I can't change its configuration. It is as if it is locked

Worst of all is that I try to return to win XP but I can't start the OS. The message is: "Could't open drive"

Please, Do you know what's wrong?

Before you start OS installation you must load SATA driver. Check please Toshiba download page on http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp if you can find it there. If not let us know.

I cannot search it for you because I don’t know which Qosmio do you have (PQG30E or PQG32E).

I have PQG32E.
I have several doubts:
What is SATA driver for my Qosmio? ( I want to install W7 64 bits)
How I can to install it now? Note that I don't have OS.

I want to do a new installation from 0

Correct

I don’t have this Qosmio but if I’m remembering well you must download RAID driver from HERE .
Load it onto USB flash card and before you start OS installation load this RAID driver. After doing this you should be able to install OS.

Check it out and post some feedback please.

I have the laptop at home. I will arrive home this afternoom.
I hope I will can to do it from a USB. Remember, now I can't OS.

Do you think necesary some other driver?
