Satellite Z930 UMTS Stick will not work

Hello all,

since a few days I own a Z930 ultrabook. I am very happy with this fast, smart laptop. The ultrabook is absolutely silent, I don't hear anything.

My problem: I don't get UMTS 3G sticks to work. When I plug the stick into the usb port it is detected, I hear the beep and it starts installing the software. However, when I launch the software it does not find the device. I replaced the BIOS by the new version 2.20, I tried several sticks, nothing helps.

I would appreciate very much if someone could give the right advice

This Z930 is my first experience with 64 bit Windows.

The old UMTS stick software will not work under 64 bit operating system. Either use some tricks to get the software updated or purchase a new stick.
