Need a program to recover unfinished MP4 file on my Camileo S30

I have a problem with my Camileo S30.
I took a 25min video of my dads 90th birthday and the file froze the camera.
It stayed on until the battery went flat. I couldnt turn it off!!
When I recharged the camera it wouldnt play the file.

According to your forum others have had the same problem
.All the other short videos around 5-10 minutes work ok so why did the camera fail to finish the file in question. This file is precious to my entire family and is the only video we have of the event.

I plead with Toshiba to find a solution so I can recover the file.
*PLEASE HELP*! I

My family will be eternally grateful for your help. Is there a software update that will prevent this from happening again? If not then there should be.

Maybe this mp4 usage guide could help you:

Try also a tool called MPEG Steamclip and check this page to get some HowTo handle mp4 files:

Looks like the program that will recover the file will cost just as much as the camera! Why bother!!
None of the freeware or shareware programs will do the job. Thank you for your help but I am at this stage really stumped!
