Qosmio X870: Toshiba Bluetooth software installed but Microsoft stops it

Hi I am a really sad Norwegian Panda.

my really annoying problem is that I sometime after updating windows 7 normally lost the toshiba bluetooth stack and the ui for it and just wont start anymoore...

At first a mont ago when I bought the machine: a qosmio x870 everything worked perfectly with toshiba drivers toshiba bluetooth stack and toshiba software ui....

I only used a Razer Orochi bluetooth mouse and that worked flawless. I however went and bought a Rapoo h6020 bluetoth headset and it also worked very pleasantly together with the mouse, even at the same time to my surprise, at this time I was a happy Panda..

But after a few days I discovered the mouse was not autoconnecting and its picture was generic in devices and printers menu...
I never thought much of the change to the bad microsoft bluetooth settings...

But I also had no driver for the headset at all installed anymore.. and the mousedrivers HID compatible device thingy is annoyingly unsensitive and rubberbands the mouspointer and is far from good and i really isnt happy over using cables in 2012...

I tried to reinstall the new bluetooth stack for windows from toshiba and the new proset drivers for n 2230 and tried to uninstall the toshiba vap and the bt filter thingyes and register cleaned and reinstalled in the order vap-atheros fiters- realtek filters- toshiba bluetooth stack with several restarts inbetween and so on .

To make a long story shorter I did every trick around the net people have tried and had sucess with... but only to make me more and more distressed...

I hav until now made 3 total system recoverys and each time I have the same result, that my bluetooth device (centrino n2230) is recognized as a generic device and the microsoft drivers is automaticly installed.

I have after a dussin times failing with installing the newest toshiba bluetooth stack and finaly made it the 2 last times I recovered the system only to discover that even if I get rid of the microsoft drivers still not are able to have the toshiba drivers installed, like they dont recognise the device...

The original Toshiba Bluetooth manager software starts normally but its icon is red and on rightclick the only choise is to start the device, wich is allready started and running with microsoft software at the same time, wich is useless for me since it only is usable for the most basic use...

I would really like to have solution for having the toshiba drivers and software to be the default again, and rather not have another full system recovery, its really annoying and I have so much other software I need every day installed for both work and private use.....

But if you could come up with a solution that works I would do allmost anythng ..... even buy 3 party software if it can solve his problem with microsofts drivers that automaticly reinstalls themselves if I uninstalls them....

Make this happen for me... I really love my PC...

I read carefully your message and I’m little bit confused…
You said that you have recovered the system several times and set it to the factory settings.
From my point of view the Bluetooth should be preinstalled by factory settings and in such case no further installation is required…
I’m wondering if you have enabled the Bluetooth using the keys Fn + F12?

For older Toshiba notebooks the FN + F8 combination has enabled/disabled the Wlan and BT but for X870 the Fn + F12 is the right combination…

So enabling Bluetooth would force further BT actions ended up with enabled working BT.
