Wrong BIOS installed on Satellite P200D

Hi,

I accidently installed wrong BIOS version. Instead for P200D I installed for P300D,and after installation now i have dead notebook.Is anyone have idea how to bring it alive, i read allot about crisis recovery disk and i've tried many times without success.

Please give me some advice how to handle with this hopeless situation.

Sorry to hear this. It is really a big problem now.
It is not known to me that some crisis disc can make your notebook to work again.

Only thing you can try is to follow advice or method posted on http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=54395

Hi

I cannot imagine that you was able to choose and to update the BIOS using wrong or not compatible version…
Using an Win-based BIOS version, you will be always informed if the wrong or not compatible BIOS update would be used…
Usually an notification message should appear and the update process should be interrupted…

Anyway, if the workaround (info in the other thread ) posted by xaver would not help you, you will need to contact the Toshiba ASP who would be able to solve this…
Hopefully your motherboard is not dead…
