Satellite L550 Resolution+ Plug-in for WMPlayer does not work

Please help as I have spent the past 6 hours trying to find a solution to this

I installed the Resolution+ plug-in but it is not listed in Media Player as installed. This software is a selling point for the computer as it greatly improves DVD performance but I can not get it installed as it is not listed in 'Video DSP' as shown on the 2nd link below. The link to download the plug-in is:

I followed all the instruction in the link below but the plug-in is not listed in the 'Video DSP'. I have installed multiple times and restarted the computer many times.

Any help would be very much appretiated.

Toshiba L550 (PSK1WE) running Win 7 64 bit with 4GB Ram. Media Player Verson 12.0.7601.17514

There is a newer version of Resolution+ Plug-in released for an Qosmio X series

Resolution+ Plug-in v 1.1.2004

try it out...
If it has not been installed properly, try rebooting your computer and reverify.

Thanks for the advice but the driver section for my Satellite L550 stil lists the 1.1.2003 driver. Do you think they forgot to update it or could the driver be model specific?

These is a plugin and not the driver… so it’s NOT notebook model specific…
Try the latest version…

You can also find another version of Resolution plug-in on the Toshiba European driver page.
The version 1.1.3 released for Satellite L875D series was released at 29/06/2012
