Hi,
I have a toshiba Satellite c660 and it has some serious internet issues.
When i turn it on, it says that i do have internet access but then when i try to use it, a yellow exclamation mark pops up down the bottom on the wifi symbol.
So i click on the internet symbol and it says im connected to the internet but i have no internet access.
I'm really confused as to what to do. Some days the internet might work for a while and then all of a sudden the exclamation mark pops up down the bottom and I cant get it working again.
If any one has any ideas on whats wrong or how to fix it thet would be GREAT. because at the moment I cant use the wireless internet on my Laptop.

Hi
I think there could be a problem with your WLan router.
I would recommend resetting the router and trying again…
If this does not help, disable all encryption settings like encryption, encryption password, mac address filtering, etc…. and try to connect again to “open” WLan.
But do this just for testing purposes…
If the connection would functions, you should configure the router once again.

I agree with MasterG. Try to restart your router.
Do you have “normal” internet access using LAN connectivity?
Have you tried to test WLAN connectivity connecting your Toshi to other router?

OK so i tried all that and no success as i have come to expect from this laptop.
This is the second router we have tried and is also the second laptop, I got a replacement for the other one as we couldnt rectify this same problem, i also replaced the router to try to rectify the problem to no avail.
In response to your question regarding using a LAN connection xaver, i am just in the process of testing that theory at the moment.
Thanks all, any other ideas/suggestions would be great.
EDIT: all seems to be fine when using a LAN connection....... hmm

Hi
Just one question:
Did you try new WLan driver?
Would strongly recommend installing new version of your WLan driver since this can be the key element…
