Satellite Pro A300 -1GT compatible RAM

One of my laptop RAM's is corrupt and "i think" it causing random crashes. For this reason i want to change both my modules. I was curious what type of memory to buy, is DDR 3 compatible or should i go for DDR2.

Hi

You should use DDR2 800MHz modules.
Modules from Kingston are good choice…

Unfortunately I cannot find this A300 -1GT notebook anywhere. Can you please check Toshiba label at the bottom side and post exact model name, model number and maybe serial number.

That will help us to find exact specification and compatible RAM modules.

Correct

You can upgrade this notebook up to 8GB of RAM.
According notebook specification you can use 4GB RAM DDR 800 wih part number PA3511U-1M51.

Put this part number in Google as search term and you will find exact specification.
