My Satellite L735 (Windows 7) which is about an year old has started warming up recently.
After a maximum of 30 minutes, it becomes too hot to be kept on the lap. It warms up mainly from the side of the vent. I'm currently out of country and wouldnt be able to show it to the warranty centre.
How do you use your notebook?
Do you use it placed on the desk?
Do you use some special applications that need high graphic performance?
You know it is not easy to say anything about that. Usually when the notebook is placed on the desk and when the cooling vents are free notebook’s cooling system should be able to reduce hardware temperature and cool down all hardware components.
If your using the comp on your knees lap this will cause overheating as you will be blocking the vents underneath you may also have blocked the vents with dust off your clothing ,so this needs looking at,
You use the notebook in wrong position… never ever block the cooling grilles placed at the bottom of the unit… this will affect air circulation and will damage your notebook. Keep the vents always free!!!
