Cursor jumps around on my Satellite R

Hi!

i hope someone has an advice, this is the problem i have:
While writing something, the cursor often changes its place and jumps around!

What might be the reason for this?

Hi

Try to disable the touchpad while typing!

I had the same “problem” in the past.
I thought its keyboard issue but I didn’t notice that I touched the touchpad accidentally...

So I disabled the touchpad using the FN + F9 and this helped

From time to time the I have noticed the same issue on my Satellite P500. When I disable touchpad there is no problem.

On some machines BIOS update was solution.
