Qosmio F60-11F - FN key is not working

Hi

the FN key in my laptop is not working all of a sudden and so I cannot use it with the combination keys to control my laptop. I tried to make it work with the HWsetup but there is nothing special for it in the keyboard tab

I went to driver download page to try and reinstall the driver but I could not figure which driver should I download

How can I make the FN key work again?

My Laptop is Qosmio F60-11F

Please check if you can find “Restart Flash Cards” option in Start > All Programs > Toshiba > Utilities. If you have it please use it for restart. If this will not help try to reinstall Toshiba Value Added Package. This package contains “Flash Cards Utility”.

Hi

I agree with xaver.
VAP and Flash Cards Utility controls the FN buttons.
Before you would reinstall the VAP (value added package) and the Flash Cards Utility you should restart the Flash Cards as mentioned by xaver… if it does not help, reinstall both mentioned tools.

Should fix this issue as reported by other users here in the forum.

I restarted the flash cards but it only make it worked as long as the windows on that current session I when I reboot windows it did not work so I reinstalled VAP and that make them work just fine
