NB 550D-11D - horizontal line in the middle of my monitor

I got a toshiba NB 550D-11D some weeks ago.
It was very slow from the beginning.

Then the ventilator started to be switched on all the time and now I can see a horizontal line in the middle of my monitor.

Is there anything I can do before asking waranty?

Hi

I’m afraid the issue is related to an hardware problem.
Either the internal display is affected or the graphic chip on the motherboard is faulty.
In both cases the hardware needs to be replaced…
Therefore you should get in contact with an service partner available in your country to get this fixed…
Hopefully your warranty is valid…

Try blowing compressed air through the air vent and reinstall the Display Drive. If still no good then send the machine to an ASP for repair/quote.
