Hi,

here is a new issue I am experiencing after the BIOS update.

I feel the internal fans are spinning all the time by placing my hands near the keyboard. Fan speed according to Toshiba software is 50%+ while I am not doing anything. On the other hand, it was at 25% before the update.

Did they update the BIOS to give the laptop more ventilation or something.
This is weird. CPU temp is 45%. I have upgraded from 3.00 to 3.30, for your information. Thanks.

P.S. The fan speed is stuck at 50%+ and wont go lower than that.

What is bothering me the most is that when I put my hands on the resting part I feel the vibrations of the fan(s). I use the keyboard a lot and this is a huge nuisance. Is it possible to get the older BIOS, the BIOS updated did not give me an option to backup. By the way, I do not have an issue with fan(s) voice(s). Its low.

Edit: Just downgraded to 3.10. Its the same. Cannot find the 3.00 version I had anywhere. This is frustrating.

Obviously an fan table has been updated and improved in the BIOS:
Fan table contains information about the temperature level and how the fan should run in order to cool down the devices.
Possibly this is need to ensure low temperature level.

By the way: after BIOS update you should set the BIOS settings to default.
In BIOS press F9 to get default settings and don’t forget to save changes.

Yeah, I figured they updated the fan work.
Though, its really annoying. Why keep the fan at 50% even though the CPU is at 4% and no work is being done. Actually, what I think they did is set the fan speed at 50% minimum. I can feel the vibrations of fans while resting my hands on the rest pad.

This is driving me crazy. That is because I type a lot.
I upgraded the BIOS hoping that I will be able to install HDD Saftey software and that did not work.
Above that, I gained a new problem. The BIOS software did not give me the chance to back the BIOS up.
Totally inefficient, I checked the BIOS updating tutorial and there was this software that offered that.

Though, mine was not like this.
It actually started the flashing automatically. I wonder if someone can feel the fans working like me on other laptops of the same model or family (L750 and L755).
