Toshiba HDR5010KB Digital Recorder Problems

Ive been happy with my HDR5010KB Digital Recorder until now.

A few problems have occured:

1) On playback of recordings the picture seems to freeze frame and then jump to catch up with the audio.

2) The recorder fails to record programmes when the recorder is in standby mode. (only one timer programme set - so theres no programme conflict etc).

Ive reformat the disk, updated the software (from Toshiba download) and I've done a manufacture box reset and still the problems are there.

Any ideas on how to solve this - or will it be a case of return to Toshiba under warranty?

Hey dude

This is Toshiba notebook systems, options and accessories forum.
I don’t think that someone could be able to help you here in this community.

I recommend asking your dealer for recommendation...maybe warranty would cover this issue...
