When I apply for upgrade through the service station, it downloaded the upgrade (which is now available on my tablet)...
then when I try to upgrade, the SS reboots the machine, then starts a full screen window with a progress bar under the Android mascot, but then a 1/4 of the way on the progress, an exlamtion mark appears, and it freezes...
and I have to hard reboot to go back to my old 3.1
now in the SS little note that comes with the upgrade, it says if the process fails, reset the machine and try again, do they mean a hard reset, i.e. go back to initial factory settings?
anyone tried to upgrade and got the same problem as me...
this looks to me as a destructive upgrade as I lose all my apps, is there a way to back them up for 3.2.1, or can I at least re-install them in the Market as I purchased them?
On another note, Toshiba Forum is very hard to navigate... and to find this thread was not that easy...
searchinig anything Tablet leads to a list of Faq answers that have nothing to do with Tablets...
Very disappointing Toshiba...

Did a hard reset (my data are secure on Google Sync)...
Still the same error...
Bizarrely, Toshiba Service Station gave me another update, in fact a downgrade of its SS application version 1, as opposed to 1.1 installed! what the heck is going on!?
I tried install that, thinking maybe there was a bug in 1.0...
but no help, still same problem...
machine hard reset to factory settings of 3.1 and not wanting to upgrade to 3.2 ...
is there another way to upgrade?...
it hard resets fine... but does not upgrade!
what can be wrong?

Got the same issue in Germany here. Servicestation version is 1.1.11 after Servicestation update from the 21st February. Won't apply the new version after reboot and Android mascott ... Please fix!!

It would be very interesting to know what update could not be installed exactly?
What is your build number of the Android 3.1 version exactly?

Jep the same here:
Current version 3.1.06.5.0011
Service Station: 1.1.11
Upgradepack: 3.2.1.36.5.0003
Many other guys from various european android forums got the same issues...

I payed 350 euros for that piece of hardware and then toshiba is failing to answer my support mail and either in the forums notbody is there... What the heck is wrong here !??

Hi all,
I have the same problem as described above from nabilh2020. The Update V3.2.1 freezes half the way after restart and a warning icon appears over the Android mascot.
Existing Version: Android 3.1.06.5.0011
Kernel-Version: 2.6.36.3-00062-gab8fc7b android-toshiba@dps3build10 #1
Build-Number: HMJ37.06.5.0011
ServiceStation: 1.1.11
Update version: V3.2.1.36.5.0003 for TEG (Germany) 27.02.2012
Strange, after the last update of the service station I have two symbols for this, but both starts the same application.
A service request from 2.3.2012 (Case#71564615) didn't brings an answer/solution until yet.

I am having the same problem that the update to Android 3.2.1 doesn't install.
There are a lot of people here in Germany with the same problem and it seems that our friends in GB are having the same problem too.
Please Toshiba fix this.

72 days later, problem still exists...
My third and last service request from 2012/28/4 wasn't answered...
It seems that Toshiba is not interested in solving the problems of its customers. So I will not interested of buying any other product from Toshiba.

Yes, there is an update since 27.02. via TSS, but it dind't work for most of the devices as you can read above (especially in germany). And I asume that Toshiba has no interest in solving this problem, because so much time has gone and nothing happened. My last request two weeks ago wasn't answered until yet. It's really a shame.

The new Update to 3.2.1 (Rev. 2), available since 5.6.2012 via ServiceStation, fixes the problem. Thank you Toshiba, keep the flame burning and bring out ICS
