Satellite L300D - No network connection

Hi,

I have a Toshiba Sattelite L300D 13S, and i was having some issues booting so have just formatted and installed windows vista on it.

I am having problems getting the network adaptor to work, its a Realtek rtl8101 Family PCI-E Fast Ethernet NIC(NDIS 6.0). Obviously when i first installed the OS there were no drivers so i had the yellow ! next to it in device manager.
I downloaded the rtl8101 drivers which made the yellow ! dissapear so i thought great it should work, but all i get is 'This computer does not have a wireless network adaptor installed and configured'.

It doesnt work with a wired connection or wireless.

I would really appreciate any help, its driving me nuts!

Hey,

Have you installed Windows with Toshiba recovery disk or normal Windows installation disk?

Hi,
Did you download the Realtek Lan driver for your laptop from the Toshiba drivers site?
Did you download the wireless lan driver or only the lan driver?
