Need Service Manual for T5200 Laptop

Hi,
I recently got a Toshiba T5200 Laptop (model PA8052U) from end of the eighties, fully working in nearly mint condition.
Now i want to put in a network card and i would like to change the cmos backup battery.
Already tried to losen a lot of screws on the backside but i was not able to open the casing.
Is there any chance to find a service manual fpr this good old piece online ?

Hi

Problem is that maintenance manuals are not public documents so they are not offered for download.
Have you tried to search it googling around?

What you can do is to contact Toshiba service in your country. Explain the situation and maybe they will help you with manuals. Pay a coffee and maybe you will get the manuals.

Yes, i searched the whole internet forward and backward... but there is nothing to find.
Toshiba has a lot of information for even older laptops but nothing for the T5200.

I will contact Toshiba directly in my country, maybe they can help...

Mayb someone else has one of these and has a hint on how to open it ?

Good luck matte… hopefully some service guys could help you with this very, very old notebook…
I was also not able to find any details in the internet…maybe because of the notebook’s age.
