Qosmio x770 11C - picture on external LCD larger than the screen
Posted: 28-Feb-2012 09:17

I connected the laptop through HDMI cable with my Bravia 32 inch LCD and the picture is larger than the screen even the TV brand was automatically recognized by laptop..

Does anyone knows how to fix it?
Thanks.

Hi

I assume your LCD supports Full HD resolution and this means that the max supported resolution would be 1920 × 1080.
I think you should set the external resolution to 1920 × 1080.

You can do this in control panel -> display
On the left click on “Adjust resolution”

Now choose display 2 (I assume this would be the LCD) and set the resolution to the 1920 × 1080 (if supported)
