Hi
Please try this:
Go to BIOS (press F2 while booting) and set the BIOS to default (F9) then save the changes (F10) and reboot.
Then download the right Wlan driver from Toshiba WLan portal:
http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/
Install the Wlan driver and check if the Wlan card is recognized properly in device manager.
Usually the Wlan could be switched on using the FN + F8 keys.
The FN buttons would work if you would install the VAP and Flash Card Support Utility. Note. The VAP needs to be installed at first.
I use both tools released for Sat L550D series… both work on my old A210 and I can enable and disable Wlan properly.
