After reading a recent article in PCPRO it mentioned about changing the wireless card in you laptop to a quicker one, has anybody done this and if so I would like to know the following things:
1) how and what does it require
2) How much was the replacement and what model
3) what is the situation with warranty and firmware.

I have a few questions for you:
Which M10 do you have exactly (M10-xxx)?
Is maybe Intel WiFi Link 5100AGN WLAN card inside?
If yes, which standard you want to use to get it faster than standard N?

Thankyou for the Reply,
I think Its the M10-10H (it has the 3g module)
I don't know about the Wifi card inside, and I would like to get the quickest speeds!

This notebook model has Intel WiFi 5100AGN card with 802.11Draft-N support so it is fast enough and, believe me, you don’t need any update.
Just be sure your router is capable to send signal using standard N.
Set router and notebook to N and your WLAN will be fast enough.
