Following a repartitioning of my hard drive using Partiton Manager, which went wrong and wrecked my system, I have now reinstalled Windows XP preparatory to upgrading it top Windows 7. However, during the time my laptop was failing to boot, and after reinstalling the OS, I get a BIOS message which reads
Initialising & establishing Link and, following apause, 2 error messages appear:
PXE-E61: Media Test Failure, check cable
PXE-MOF: Existing Intel Boot Agent
Apart from the power supply, there is nothing attached to the laptop.
What is going wrong and what do I need to do to rectify the problems, please.
