Seems like it is a problem with exactly your smartbook.
There were reported no problems like this at russian 4pda AC100 100+ pages discussion.

It IS working! But it does not give 1080p!

By the way, your link describes problems playing 1080p video and even 720p video on x264 (examples B and C)! It seems only MPEG2 (example A) is decoding smoothly...

You have forgotten your original messages. You should have said:
'thank you, sir, I have mistaken 'hd-ready' and 'full-hd' tv sets, but now, thanks for your cooperation, I do see the normal Toshiba screen on my TV set. Toshiba really does work only in 1080p, and its video-performance allow to watch only some from the HD movies. Thank you again, mister!'

Well, original was "I cannot find AC series forum"... Discussion went far from the original...

'hd-ready' and 'full-hd' - are only market terms. All that matter is resolution. 1080p is 1920x1080 progressive and I have never seen IT (1920x1080 progressive) on a single monitor or projector connected via HDM to AC100. Did anyone? Screenshots?

But surely I can thank you for continuing discussion over this stillborn gadget.
