Equium P300-16T - Issue with volume wheel

Equium P300-16T
just installed windows 7 64bit

having issue with volume dial if i try and adjust volume using wheel it iratic even if i click on speaker in task bar.
If I open ie note pad and turn wheel text is appears automatically "cccbccbcc"

BIOS updated
installed Hardware 3.0.1.0
Sounddriver 4.98.6.61
Value Added Package 1.2.40
Reg Patch 1.2

Did you notice the same problem on preinstalled Windows (Vista?) too or just on Windows 7?

This would mean it’s a software related issue…

I have a little bit searched here in forum and I found another interesting thread with a similar issue. The guy has clean the volume wheel using compressed air spray because dirt has caused the problem.

In your case I would try to do the same so check this!!!
