Satellite Pro L350-25Z - WLAN switch broken

Some days ago my toshiba notebook droped down to the floor. Until there everything is working fine. Since there the notebook isn't able to access WLAN. If i tooked a closer look i have found out that the wirless switch is broken. So I disassepled the notebook and found out that this is sw501 on the motherboard.

So my question, is it possible to short the switch by soldering. It's not a problem if I can't switch of Wireless after shorting the switch.
Other solution would to change the switch with original spare part, if possible to get one.

Unfortunately I think the only solution is replacing this switch or mainboard... I don’t know it exactly because I’m not a notebook technician but if the switch is broken it needs replacing…

You can ask an authorized service provider in your country. The guys can get in contact with Toshiba and order new spare parts for you. Just give them a call or write an email, it takes few minutes only.

I think you need professional help with this. For me there is only one logic solution and it is switch replacement. I don’t know if you can get it anywhere as single part but you can contact nearest Toshiba service and ask for help.

Thank you four the answers. I will contact the local toshiba support if it's possible to get a switch as spare part. An other solution might be to buy a WLAN-stick.
