HDMI would be the best connection.

Some M11 models may have an integrated modem. If not, you can use a USB or ExpressCard Modem.
Or you could use software that receives faxes over the internet and saves it an an image or PDF.

Which Tecra M11 do you have exactly (M11-xxx)?
Just want to check which video ports are available on your notebook.

Akuma is right. You can search for external solution (USB or ExpressCard Modem) but Internet slution is also very good option.

M11-103 that's my model name...
how do i check if i have an integrated modem?
the thing is, if i do or even if i get an external solution, i still have to plug the pc to the phone line, using the old phone line cable...
as for the hdmi, the end of the cable that connects to the tv needs to b hdmi but on my notebook the socket i have is a mini port, so what do u call the cable that has miniport on one end and hdmi on the other?
now, i have a couple of more questions, every time i listen to music or watch a movie and i tilt the notebook just a bit, the music/video skips, stops or is stuck for 2-3 seconds... why is that and how do i make it stop? could it b a mechanical problem?
and one more thing, on my device manager i see two audio devices, one is Intel(R) display audio
the second is realtek(R) high definition audio with ec, what does that mean and how do i look for maybe a software to help me configure more advanced qualities of my audio cause for now its not so good.... (add maybe reverb, enhance sound stuff like that that usually come with the realtek(R) audio cards)
THANKS for everything....

The notebook does not support internal modem.
It support Bluetooth and WLan
If the notebook would support modem then you should find a modem port (RJ-11) at the notebook’s side.

as for the hdmi, the end of the cable that connects to the tv needs to b hdmi but on my notebook the socket i have is a mini port, so what do u call the cable that has miniport on one end and hdmi on the other?
The notebook support VGA (RGB port) . This port can be used in order to connect an external monitor.
There is No DVI but you could use an Dockingstation which support an DVI port. This would allows you to connect to the HDMI port of HD TV. In such case you could use an DVI to HDMI cable.

But note; DVI transmits just video signal. if you want to have audio/sound via TV speakers then you would need additional audio cable to connect the notebook’s headphone jack to TV.
