It seems I need to pay for winzip to unzip files

Hi,

Had laptop for neary a year now and as yet have not upgraded 'Alert' notices as it seems I need to pay for winzip to unzip files.
Can't I download without using zipped files or is there some other way to downlaod.

Hi

Search for WinRAR.
This tool unzips the packages too.
You can download the install it for free.
You will get always an notification to purchase a full version but you can close the notification and can always unzip an driver/software package

I agree with PauPau. I use WinRAR too and you can get it for free.
Using WinRAR you can extract all files in zip file.

Use Google and search for “WinRAR free download”.

You can also use 7zip for unpacking the zip files.

You are right, the 7 zip is good software and in addition it's free
