Hi buddy,

First of all it’s not necessary to disassemble the notebook if you want to clean it. Furthermore if you disassemble it, you will loose the warranty so this should be done only from professional people…

The magic word is “compressed air spray”. With this spray you can blow out the dust from the cooling ventilators. Blow gently and shortly with the compressed air spray due the notebook where the fan is. You should see how much dust come out…

I clean my notebook every 4-5 months. Why?
The fan doesn’t run so often and it’s cooler. :)

I hobo

How to do this?
You are really cool. As you probably know disassembling procedure must be done step-by-step. These steps are described in Maintenance manuals but this document is designed for authorized personal only and unfortunately, it is not a public document.

So please think twice before you start to disassemble your notebook. In most models there are small hidden holders that can be damaged if you don't know where they are placed exactly.
Googling around you can find some pages with disassembling description but please be careful.
