When I press the "power button" of my childrens Tecra 5200 nothing happens, only the power LED in the front panel goes on, but Notebook does not boot - actually nothing happens.
Earlier I experienced following problems;
- the internal HDD did not work, so I put the HDD into the Select Bay adapter and switched 2 HDDs (for each child 1 HDD with their own software / games)
- computer got extremely hot on the surface (I had tried to open the computer and to clean inside, but it still got extremely hot)
Now to my question;
- if the computer does not start, is is because of the internal HDD problem (discovered once in a while it recognized an old HDD, I had attached to the internal port, as otherwise the DVD-drive did not work) - and easy repair is possible
- or could it be possible that the CPU got too hot and bust, which means I would not spend money on repair.
Hopefully someone can help and give his/ her advice.
