Satellite L550: Game Civilization 3 run slow after upgrade to Win 7

My laptop came with Vista pre-installed, and i ordered the "free" windows 7 upgrade.

I play a game called civilization 3, wich i installed with Vista and it worked fine.
Now i upgraded Vista to Windows 7 and the game still works fine, but the graphics have dramatically slowed down.

My system has the ATI mobility Radeon HD 4650 videocard, and i allready checked if there was a new driver.

Can anyone helpme out here?

Thanx.

Hi

As far as I know you can find the newest graphic card driver on the Toshiba European driver page. It’s the newest which is available for this notebook model and graphic card.

But to be honest the Civilization 3 is not a powerful game which would need an strong graphic card and therefore I doubt that this could be an graphic card problem.

What Win 7 version do you use? Is it a 64bit version?
Possibly the Civilization 3 is not fully tested and compatible with Win 7.

Did you search for formations in the Civilization 3 forums or manufacturer page?
