Yes, I help you.

Go here -> http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/jsp/home.do?service=EU&from=http%3A//www.toshiba-europe.com/

then click on Support & Downloads -> Support Homepage -> Downloads: Downloads and Drivers -> choose your machine and download the ValueAddedPackage or toshiba flashcards

Install it and the error message should disappear

Thanks for the reply.

Tried to download the value package but the web page kept on getting stuck.
Downloaded the flash media driver but that did not solve the problem.

Whats in the the value pack that is different and is it worth the effort to keep on trying?

Hi

First of all you should remove the old Toshiba FlashCard Utility.
After this short process you should reinstall the Toshiba Components Common Driver.
This is an essential component of Windows Vista. It is required to make the other TOSHIBA original programs work properly. After this installation you should reinstall the TOSHIBA Flash Cards which provides the Hotkey function and the launcher function that starts the Hotkey function and launches the other TOSHIBA utilities.
Both tools can be found in the Toshiba value added package.

This should works!

Hi

Thanks for the reply

My problem still hasn’t been solved as I am unsure how to remove the old utility to allow me to reinstall the components common driver. Can anybody guide me through how to do this?

Thanks
Maurice

Correct
The best way to get the best functionality for your Toshiba Notebook should be to download the newest value Added Package.

The Value Added package includes the newest Versions of some Toshiba Utilities including the Flash Card Utility.

It is worth the time to download it!

So after downloading, uninstall the actual VAP and install the new one.
The Flash Cards a working much better with the new VAP.
