Satellite L20-101: can't connect my TV with the svhs

Hi dudes,

i have a problem.
I have a L20 - 101 and i can't connect my tv with the svhs exit of my toshiba.
I reinstalled drivers for motherboard and videographics, what can i try?

Ok, sounds like a really un-nice problem.

So, how do you try to switch to the TV? You have the option in your display properties, but does the machine recognize the TV? You have also the key combination FN+F5 to change the display, did you already tried it?

And regarding your display drivers (which vga do you have? nvidia or ati?)

I am pretty sure there is some problem with TV settings. Please be sure the S-Video port on TV is enabled properly.

Of course I believe your notebook is preinstalled properly and you can use FN+F5 key combination to switch to external display or TV.

i have an intel graphics, 915GM
and i try all setting in pc and tv, and i try the fn+f5 combination too.

another idea?
the past weeks i can connect it to the tv, but now i can't, i don't know what else i have to do.

Don’t know what is happened but I would recommend checking the graphic driver properties -> advanced settings.

Sometimes the TV device must be enabled firstly.

But I do these things already, but still don't work.

At the end I can just say follow: it must work. Either try to obtain new S-Video cable or try to test it with other, newer TV. I am pretty sure you make something wrong with settings and it has nothing to do with drivers especially if notebook has “factory settings”.
