The hdd is sata.

In Bios i don't have much choises. I wanted to switch from AHCI to ide .. but i don't have this.
So I have now vista .. is the only system that worked on it .. but i didn't manage to start wireless on it.

BTW : where is the led when the wireless is on this laptop? i didn't sow where this will be ???

I think a bios update should work... but i don't find one. Now i have 1.60 ... and this is the only one for vista.

So if anyone can help me pls.

To install XP on your machine you have to load the Sata drivers during the installation.

Please check this thread for more information on how to install XP on a machine with an sata controller.

Hi Marius
The switch for the wireless can be next to the lid clip and also a second function key switch.

Check again for the right WLan driver and the new BIOS for the XP.
Then everything should run correctly
