I think the notebook uses the Atheros Wlan card (ATHEROS 802.11 B/G XB61).
So try to install the Atheros Wlan card driver and test it!

What version is show in BIOS settings?
Go to BIOS and check this!

Usually there should see the 4.8 version…

Remove the webcam software from automatically startup.
You can do this in msconfig -> Startup tab.
