So as stated elsewhere the X500 series has a definite design/manufacturing fault that allows a 'shadow' to be visible along the length of the screen at about the height of the taskbar (so not noticeable in windows, but naything fullscreen, like movies,...

Well, its opened. Pandoras box! I read this thread once and forgot about it but then all things qosmio got the better of me and had to take another peak and its confirmed... the grey line pandemic has spread to the x500-10 here in...

Just watch out for the dark shadow at the bottom of the screen that Toshiba says is a 'technological limitation' and not a fault.

Having said that, in fast gameplay u may not notice it as bad as when u are watching movies.

Hi, I checked the FAQ but couldn't find this addressed anywhere.
